Job description
- will be responsible for translating customer demand into feasible production schedules, ensuring timely material supply, and coordinating closely with production, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams;
- this role plays a key part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, production efficiency, and on-time delivery performance;
- develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity;
- analyze customer forecasts, orders, and production requirements to ensure timely delivery;
- monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address changes in demand, capacity constraints, or material availability;
- coordinate production priorities with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams;
- optimize production sequencing to maximize efficiency and minimize changeover times;
- track schedule adherence and identify opportunities for process improvements;
- support capacity planning activities and provide production planning analyses;
- ensure on-time deliveries of customer orders and on-time materials procurement ;
- ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and packaging materials required for production;
- monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock coverage;
- analyze material requirements based on production plans and customer demand;
- communicate material requirements to suppliers and purchasing teams;
- follow up on supplier deliveries and proactively address potential shortages;
- coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams regarding inbound material flows;
- support inventory optimization initiatives while minimizing the risk of production disruptions;
- participate in material shortage management and escalation processes.
