• Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to ensure that the cars we build meet the highest expectations from our customers; • Be a project leader within a global production team in our state-of-the-art Propulsion Shop (Electric Drive Unit or Cell to Body), supporting new car projects, setting up the new production plant in Kosice, Slovakia, global development work and running production; • Be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of industrialization projects, securing all Industrialization deliveries from the team to the car programs; • Be responsible for area budget and RFQ (Request for Quotation) process; • Coordinate commissioning and installation activities, issue list follow-up; • Be responsible for handing over equipment to end user; • Own and align global manufacturing processes and strategies within the car programs; • Represent ME as well as the plants, in supporting stakeholders; • Stakeholder management, Line builder management; • Secure all Manufacturing deliveries from the team to the car programs; • Take actions on manufacturing related obstacle to achieve best process design and update status to Gateway/Milestone reports within area of responsibility up to Final Data Judgment; • Give solution proposals and escalate if needed with support from Equipment Engineers; • Working towards closing the gap to the Vision layout; • Responsible for Lean process design and process flow; • Be responsible for update status to Local Program Manager; • Be responsible for lessons learned manage-ment, share best practice and knowledge and coach the team members.
• Previous manufacturing engineering experience leading projects (installation/commissioning) is mandatory; • Competence in Lean Process Design; • Know-how of process electric drive units – production of rotor, stator, inverter; • Experiences with assembly processes of electric drive units; • Design of production lines – mechanical design, automation principles, integration of robot applications; • Design of production lines with integrated welding technologies, EoL, E-check stations; • Conversational in English, written and spoken, and proficient in Slovak language; • Ability and willingness to travel within and outside Europe, more frequently in the initial phase, although based in Kosice, Slovakia; • Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team; • Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies; • Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.
