Lead and develop the Engineering organization, including Process, Manufacturing, Automation, Equipment, Maintenance, and Industrial Engineering functions as applicable;
define and execute the engineering strategy and technical roadmap;
ensure high levels of equipment availability, process capability, OEE, quality, and production stability;
drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, automation, equipment, and production technologies;
lead technical activities related to new production lines, capacity expansions, product changes, and industrialization projects;
ensure successful commissioning, qualification, ramp-up, and handover of new equipment and manufacturing processes;
establish engineering standards, processes, KPIs, governance, and technical documentation.
lead systematic resolution of complex technical and production issues and ensure sustainable corrective actions;
drive automation, digitalization, Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, and data-driven manufacturing initiatives;
manage engineering budgets, CAPEX planning, technical investments, and resource allocation;
evaluate and approve technical concepts, specifications, equipment designs, and supplier solutions;
manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, technology providers, engineering partners, and other external suppliers;
work closely with Production, Quality, Logistics, Product Development, IT, Finance, and Project Management;
ensure compliance with applicable automotive quality, machinery safety, electrical safety, environmental, and high-voltage requirements;
develop engineering competencies through coaching, training, succession planning, and structured knowledge management;
promote a strong culture of technical excellence, ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
provide regular technical and project performance reporting to senior management.
