Job description
- Production planning, scheduling and coordination
- Capacity planning for machines, tools and manpower, including bottleneck management
- Material availability planning together with Logistics and Purchasing
- SAP/MRP management, including planned orders, production orders and master data
- Management of production disruptions, shortages and schedule deviations
- Monitoring of KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory, OEE and schedule adherence
- Coordination with Production, Logistics, Quality, Purchasing and Sales
- Communication and coordination with the customers
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Continuous improvement of production planning processes
- Very strong hands-on SAP PP experience – key requirement
- Strong experience with JIT/JIS deliveries in the automotive industry – key requirement
- Solid experience in automotive production planning and production control
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA and MRP processes
- Strong capacity and material planning expertise
- Experience working directly with automotive OEM customers
- Previous production planning experience for BMW is a significant advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
