Job description
- Managing supplier quality in accordance with automotive industry requirements.
- Leading and coordinating the supplier qualification and evaluation process.
- Conducting supplier audits based on VDA 6.3 standards and supplier potential assessments.
- Overseeing the PPAP/VDA PPF process for new product launches.
- Analyzing quality complaints and implementing corrective and preventive actions using the 8D methodology.
- Facilitating root cause analyses using quality tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, Pareto, FMEA).
- Developing and implementing supplier development plans and monitoring the effectiveness of implemented actions.
- Participating in escalation processes related to supplier quality issues.
- At least 2 years of experience in an SQA, SQE, or similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Very good knowledge of VDA requirements, specifically: VDA 6.3 (process audit), VDA 2 (PPF – Production Process and Product Approval), VDA MLA (Maturity Level Assurance), VDA 6.3 auditor certification is an additional asset.
- Experience in conducting supplier audits and developing suppliers with poor quality performance.
- Proficiency in English.
