• Serve as the primary contact for OEM resident engineers, supplier quality teams, and external auditors, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on all escalation topics. • Lead the management of quality escalations originating from OEMs, Tier-1, and Tier-2 suppliers, ensuring structured and effective response. • Coordinate immediate corrective actions to protect the customer and maintain on-time, safe product deliveries. • Drive rapid stabilization of critical quality issues through disciplined problem-solving and cross-functional coordination. • Develop and own a comprehensive de-escalation roadmap including priorities, timelines, KPIs, and a clear communication framework. • Identify process gaps contributing to escalations and implement fast, sustainable improvement measures across manufacturing and supply-chain processes. • Lead multidisciplinary teams across Production, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Logistics, and Program Management to execute strategic process-improvement initiatives. • Prepare and present escalation reports, dashboards, and recovery progress updates to internal leadership and customers. • Analyze root causes of escalations - such as missed deadlines, unclear procedures, or process breakdowns - and design preventive systems to avoid recurrence. • Apply advanced de-escalation strategies and cross-functional problem-solving skills to maintain operational stability within the automotive supply chain.
Requirements:
• Automotive industry experience (Tier-1/Tier-2 or OEM), with strong background in quality management. • Ability to communicate effectively with OEMs and senior management. • Demonstrated success in managing escalations, customer complaints, and crisis situations. • Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP and core tools. • Strong leadership presence.
